Move over, Vicky. Janet Jackson has finally decided to market what she loves to flaunt: underwear. Miss Jackson is unveiling her satin-and-lace lingerie line—aptly named Pleasure Principle—by early next year with her partner, designer Bruno Schiavi. No word yet if Jackson herself will be modeling her wares.
Speaking of intimates, actress Stacey Dash is also trying her hand at designing with her Letters of Marque. The flirty pieces, made of cotton voile and two kinds of lace, recall centuries past when underwear was frilly yet functional. Chicago’s Asian-fusion and seafood hot spot L2O recently introduced a chic semi-enclosed dining room. It’s like having your own VIP, except this one serves up a four-course prix fixe ($110) and 12-course tasting menu ($165) that are great for groups. To up the sexy, book the new Tatami Room, which serves two to eight people.
