http://www.uptownlife.net/images/sekou/Kerika/he%5C%27s_gone_you%5C%27re_back.gifNew book helps mend the breakup blues

By Roz Jackson

First, you’ve got Beyonce calling out to all the "single ladies," and then, according to Ne-Yo, there’s something especially sexy about a woman who doesn’t need a man “cuz she got her own.”  It seems as if the days of "going down ‘cuz [he] ain’t around," as Mary J. once bellowed, are now long gone.

Author Kerika Fields couldn’t agree more. Bouncing back from a break-up is now made easier than ever with the help of her new book. In “He’s Gone …You’re Back: The Right Way to Get over Mr. Wrong,” Fields offers insight and advice to recovering victims of heartbreak.

Recounting her own experiences, Fields encourages readers to “move forward with their lives in positive and productive ways,” with special attention on the mind, body and soul. "He’s Gone" doesn't consist of just words on paper-- the book also features interactive lessons for the recovering sister. Equipped with a Daily Self-Love Checklist, a “He’s Gone…You’re Back!” Playlist, and Recipes for Recovery, sisters will surely heal from the hurts and pains of broken relationships.

If read, and executed carefully, readers will discover what it means to be mentally, physically and spiritually in tune … and single.

Nice Review
written by Eddie, November 14, 2008
I think this is a great review. It's nice to see a book that's not male-bashing but more self-motivating and uplifting. Can't wait to read the book!

This a great review but come on......if he was Mr. Wrong he should be easy to get over. You wouldnt need special therapy for a guy that sucked anyway. Come on ladies get it together.
Inspiring words!

Response to Mr. Right
written by Anoymous, November 19, 2008
In response to Mr. Right, I understand where you come from but, you don't know they are Mr. Wrong until it's to late. When you 1st start out you can't tell. That's why this book helps you get over the WRONG guy even when you LIKE him so you can work on YOURSELF, maybe if you read the book smart one you would find that out . smilies/tongue.gif
Congratulations, I hope it does well

I'm gonna get one for my sisters and all my girlfriends. I'm familiar with Ms. Fields writing. Very articulate, very down to earth.
I must agree

There's nothing better than an independent woman and I think nowadays men appreciate that more.
This looks like a good read.
